Basia has been a professional hairstylist for over 20 years and is passionate about helping people look and feel their best. Originally from Poland, she immigrated to the United States and earned her cosmetology license from the Westchester School of Beauty. Committed to continuous learning, Basia consistently seeks opportunities to enhance her skills as a stylist. Her dedication and passion have led her to realize a lifelong dream—opening and owning her own salon. Basia’s Hair Salon is staffed with a team of devoted professionals who are committed to bringing each client’s unique beauty vision to life. Basia hopes every client enjoys their experience at the salon as much as the team enjoys providing it.

Malita Rodrigues

Malita has many years of experience but believes it is never too old to learn something new. Malita loves the opportunity to meet and exceed customer expectations. Malita range of expertise includes perms, body wave, color, cuts and formal styling. Malita is an experienced as a stylist and is not limited to ladies, she is also an skilled Barber. Malita worked for 16 year in another Somers beauty salon, and now working in Basia’s Hair Salon.

Evon Wynn

It is Evon passion for everything hair and beauty which led her career choice as a stylist. Evon has been as a licensed cosmologist in New York for many years. Evon believe in continual education and strive to obtain knowledge of new products and services available in order to provide excellent services her clients. Evon specialize in cutting edge, razor cut, color, highlights, lowlights, Balayage, color correction including Brazilian Karatin Treatments. Evon believes by listening to the client and understanding their specific hair needs will lead in achieving unlimited creativity.

Jennifer McCarthy

Jennifer joined Basia’s staff since the opening of the Salon in 2016. Jennifer is friendly and courteous and will greet you with a smile. Jennifer inspires to assure the client has the best experience from the moment of walking in to the door to booking the next appointment.

Bella

Bella is a skilled hairdress and certified permanent makeup artist with years of experience. She is passionate about enhasing natural beauty. Services offered by Bella include flawless haircuts and color, expertly applied brows, eyeliner, and lip-blush, as well as a full range of services to help clients look and feel their best everyday. Whether seeking a fresh style or lasting beauty solutions, clients are stated to be in "great hands with Bella".

Joana

Joann is an talented barber and cosmetologist with 25 years of experience in pixie cuts, color, highlights etc. She is committed to providing the best possible client experience.
